These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the AskNapoleon website, platform, and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by [legal entity name] ("AskNapoleon", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above who are capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Nature of the Service
AskNapoleon currently offers: a traditional, public-domain fortune-telling text ("Napoleon Bonaparte's Book of Fate", the Oraculum) presented as a digital question-and-casting experience; a dream-symbol dictionary; and an AI-driven "Ask Anything" feature that answers free-form questions in the voice of the same text. We plan to introduce Vedic Astrology, Numerology, and Vastu Shastra analysis features in the future — see Section 5 below and our Privacy Policy for how birth data will be handled once those features launch.
All content on the Platform — including any future astrology, numerology, or Vastu output — is provided for entertainment and reflection purposes only and does not constitute medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice. Do not make significant life, health, financial, or legal decisions based solely on content from this Platform; consult an appropriately qualified professional where relevant.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, or shared.
4. Wallet and Payments
- The Platform uses a prepaid, non-interest-bearing wallet. You add funds via Razorpay (UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking); we do not store your card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on our own servers.
- Wallet balance may only be used to pay for content and features within the Platform (currently ₹1 per traditional Oraculum or "Ask Anything" question — future astrology/numerology/Vastu features may be priced separately, and any such pricing will be disclosed before you are charged). Wallet balance has no cash value outside the Platform, cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another user, or redeemed for cash.
- Once a question is submitted and an answer is delivered, the corresponding wallet amount is treated as a completed digital service and is non-refundable, except as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- We reserve the right to correct wallet balances in the event of a technical error (for example, a payment confirmed by Razorpay but not correctly credited, or vice versa).
5. Future Astrology, Numerology & Vastu Shastra Features
We plan to introduce features that generate Vedic Astrology, Numerology, and Vastu Shastra analysis based on your Date of Birth, exact Time of Birth, and Place of Birth. This is sensitive personal information. When these features become available:
- We will ask for your specific, separate consent before collecting or processing this birth data — agreeing to these Terms and our general Privacy Policy at registration does not, by itself, constitute consent to collect birth data for these features.
- You will be able to decline to use these specific features while continuing to use the rest of the Platform (Oraculum, Dream Dictionary, Ask Anything) without providing birth data.
- Birth data collected for these features will be used exclusively to generate the analysis you request, as described in our Privacy Policy at that time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems; use automated means to create multiple accounts or abuse promotional wallet credits (if any); or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes another person's rights.
7. Intellectual Property
The underlying "Book of Fate" text is, to our understanding, in the public domain given its age and publication history. The Platform's software, design, translations, user interface, and any original commentary or AI-generated response formatting are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including our statutory obligations as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle data breaches.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraud or payment abuse, or for other legitimate business reasons, with notice where reasonably possible. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time via our Contact Us page.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Routine changes take effect once posted, with the "Effective Date" above updated accordingly, and continued use of the Platform after that constitutes acceptance. Where a change materially affects how we collect or use sensitive personal data (for example, birth data for future astrology features), we will seek your renewed, specific consent before that change applies to you, rather than relying on continued use alone.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform.

This document is a general-purpose template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Given the Platform handles real payments, a prepaid wallet, and (in future) sensitive birth data, we recommend a qualified Indian legal/CA review — particularly of the wallet mechanics against RBI's Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) rules, and of the planned astrology/numerology/Vastu features against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — before those features launch and before accepting live payments at scale.
